Re-entry formats can make the true maximum cost materially higher than the headline buy-in. Deciding your cap in advance separates a planned limit from an emotional decision after elimination.
Budget ≠ expected spend
The result is a ceiling based on the inputs you chose, not a suggestion to use every re-entry or spend the full amount. If the event no longer fits your limit, the correct output of the calculator can simply be “do not enter.”
