Who's behind it
TorontoPoker.org is written and kept up to date by the TorontoPoker.org editorial team. We're not a casino. We don't take bets and we don't run a poker site. We write for players 19 and over who want straight answers before they drive to a card room or put money on an online site.
What you'll find here
- Casino poker rooms. Profiles of Great Canadian Toronto, Pickering Casino Resort, Casino Niagara, Elements Casino Mohawk and Elements Casino Brantford, with dated hours and games.
- Cash games and tournaments. Cash games in Hold'em and Omaha, plus tournament formats and schedules.
- Online poker in Ontario. Which sites are on iGaming Ontario's regulated list and what the law says.
- Strategy. Beginner and intermediate lessons, from hand rankings to c-betting.
- Calculators. Tools for pot odds, buy-ins, tournament costs and trip planning.
What we check
Room hours, games, stakes and tournament schedules come from the room's or operator's own pages, and we put the date we checked right beside them. Whether an online site is regulated in Ontario comes from the iGaming Ontario directory, not from whether it loads in your browser.
A game on a room's menu isn't proof that it's running tonight. If a page says a room publishes $1/$3 No-Limit Hold'em, that's what the room says it offers, not a live seat report. Call ahead or check the live list before you make the trip. Our data methodology and sources spell out exactly where each kind of fact comes from.
What we don't do
We don't run gambling products, accept wagers or promise you'll win. We won't call an offshore or grey-market site Ontario-regulated just because you can reach it online.
How we may make money
We may earn money from disclosed affiliate partnerships, advertising or sponsorship. None of that decides which sites we label Ontario-regulated or what we say about a room. The affiliate disclosure names the specific relationships.
