How to use the list
- Confirm the brand is still on the live directory. Search for the exact brand name you plan to sign up with.
- Confirm you're 19+ and that you'll play while physically in Ontario. Regulated sites check your location.
- Then compare the poker product itself: cash-game mix, tournament schedule, software, payments, withdrawal time and the operator's own limit tools.
What to compare once a brand passes
Every brand on the list has passed the same regulatory filter. What's left is the kind of thing you'd judge about a live room: is your game running, and do you like playing there?
- Your game at your hours. If you play $0.25/$0.50 No-Limit Hold'em after work, log in at that time and count the tables. A lobby at 3 p.m. tells you little about 10 p.m.
- Tournament schedule. Look at buy-ins you'd actually pay. A big Sunday guarantee doesn't help if you play $10 events on weeknights.
- Software. Try the mobile app and the desktop client if you'll use both. Check that the bet-sizing buttons and the hand history work the way you expect.
- Payments. Which deposit and withdrawal methods are offered, and how long cashouts take in practice.
- Limit tools. Deposit limits, session reminders, cool-offs. Set them on day one.
Whichever site you pick, the same fundamentals decide your results. Start with preflop ranges, positions and continuation betting.

- Treat a global poker brand as Ontario-regulated because its .com site loads in Toronto.

As of the 1 September 2026 directory check, six brands are tagged for poker. That number can change, so count the current directory rather than relying on an older list.
Is FanDuel Poker the same listing as PokerStars?
The directory row we record is FanDuel Poker under FanDuel Canada ULC. Brand migrations happen. If you are looking for a former skin, check the current directory name rather than an old review title.
Are Bwin and PartyPoker different rooms?
They are different brands in the directory with the same operator listing, ElectraWorks Maple Limited. Compare the product each brand actually shows you after login.
Can I play on these sites outside Ontario?
