Getting there and getting on the list
The poker room is on Level 2 at Casino Niagara. Bring valid government-issued photo ID and check the current Momentum card requirements before you go. You're 19+ in Ontario.
The room uses Bravo Poker Live for its list, and the venue also publishes reservation and call-ahead options. You can call ahead up to 90 minutes before you arrive. Check Bravo from your phone to see what's running, call to reserve, then check in at the poker desk as soon as you get there. From Toronto, the drive alone can take longer than that 90-minute window, so time your call for when you're getting close.
For more on how lists and check-in work, see the waitlists page.
The cash games
According to the casino's FAQ, blinds start at $1/$3 with a $100 minimum buy-in, and other games run based on demand. That second part is key. Unlike Great Canadian Toronto, which publishes a full ladder of stakes, Niagara leaves the bigger games up to who shows up. A Saturday night during tourist season will look very different from a Tuesday afternoon. If you want something beyond the entry-level game, ask on the phone or check Bravo before driving.
At $1/$3, a 100-big-blind stack is $300. Confirm the actual buy-in range at the desk. The buy-in calculator helps you pick a number that fits your budget.
Current tournament schedule
| Event | Date / time | Published structure |

| Monthly Hold'em | Sept. 27, 2026 · 12:30 p.m. | $550 buy-in; unlimited re-entry through second break |
| Fall Main Event | Oct. 13–16, 2026 · flights start 12:30 p.m. | $1,200; 35,000 stack; Day 1 30-min levels; later days 40-min levels |
These are dated event details, not a permanent schedule. Re-check Casino Niagara before making the trip.
A few things to know. The Wednesday $300 lets you enter or re-enter until the first break. The monthly $550 allows unlimited re-entry through the second break, so set your own limit before you register. Two bullets is $1,100. The Fall Main Event is the big one: a 35,000 starting stack with 30-minute levels on Day 1 and 40-minute levels after that. That's a slower structure than a typical daily, which gives you more room to play.

When Niagara makes sense from Toronto
For a poker-only trip from Toronto, Niagara takes more time than Great Canadian Toronto or Pickering. It makes more sense if:
- you're already in Niagara Falls;
- you want one of the published tournaments;
- you specifically like this room's mix of cash games and tournaments.
If it's a full day out, think about the drive home at 3:45 a.m. when the room closes. The Toronto vs Niagara and Niagara Falls pages compare the trip, and room amenities covers hotels and food.
What your first session looks like
You're in town for the weekend. Around 7 p.m. you check Bravo, see $1/$3 running, and call to reserve. You walk over, head up to Level 2, check in at the desk, and get called to a seat.
A few hands in, you hold 7♠7♣ in middle position and limp behind two players. The flop comes K♦7♥2♠. You've flopped a set. Don't get too tricky: on a board like that, someone with a king will usually call a bet. Bet, and let them pay you. Small pots with lots of callers are normal at the lowest stakes. Patience wins more there than fancy plays.
