What happened in 2025
Great Canadian reported 11 events across April 10–22, 2025, including No-Limit Hold’em, Ladies, Seniors, Mystery Bounty, Pot-Limit Omaha, Deepstack, a $2,000 Main Event and a $3,500 High Roller. Great Canadian later reported more than $7.56 million awarded across the series.
Why this matters to Toronto players
The important lesson is not that a WSOP event happens every spring. It is that Great Canadian Toronto has demonstrated it can host a major multi-event series. Future Toronto dates should only be added when WSOP, GGPoker or Great Canadian publishes them.
